Welcome to Treehouse Village, Atlantic Canada’s first cohousing community, a vibrant, multi-generational neighborhood focused on sustainable living. Our 30 single-level condos, spread across four two-storey buildings, are built to ultra-efficient Passive House standards. Alongside our homes, we offer a 4,000 sq. ft. Common House and a 1,000 sq. ft. workshop, all within walking and biking distance of downtown Bridgewater. The community is surrounded by a Common Green, gardens, and 11 acres of protected forest.
At Treehouse Village, kids can play safely in nature, climbing trees and exploring the outdoors, while adults enjoy gardening, shared meals, and collaborative projects in the workshop. The 4,000 sq. ft. Common House serves as the heart of the community, offering spaces like a kitchen, dining room, laundry facilities, coworking space, guest rooms, an exercise room, and a children’s play area.
Treehouse Village residents share over 5,000 sq. ft. of fully accessible communal space, connecting our homes to each other and to the vibrant, natural surroundings. Located in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, on the scenic South Shore, our homes are bright, modern, and energy-efficient, available in 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom layouts designed for comfort and affordability.
