We are a group of families with the shared vision of creating a joyful, environmentally responsible, healthy, multi-age ecohousing community in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada. Nestled in almost 15 acres of forest, a short walk from downtown Bridgewater, Treehouse Village features 30 condominium homes built to the ultra energy-efficient Passive House standard. Many residents have begun to move in. Check out our homes for sale or rent here.
At the heart of our ecohousing community is the Common House, our extended living room.

Treehouse Villagers share nearly 5000 square feet of welcoming, fully accessible contemporary space, including a shared kitchen and dining room, play room, library, guest rooms, and workshop.
The Common Green, the gardens, and over 10 acres of backyard forest–these are the pedestrian play spaces that flow as the main arteries of our community–connecting each one of our homes to the heart (our Common House) and to each other.

Bridgewater is a shining example of a sustainable, healthy community, located in Nova Scotia, Canada’s ocean playground.
Bright, modern, energy efficient space.
Designed to Passive House (PHIUS) standards with universal design principles in mind, 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom homes at Treehouse Village are comfortable, healthy, and easy on the monthly budget.
