SAVE THE DATE! Treehouse Village is hosting a Community Open House on Saturday, June 22, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Atlantic Canada’s first cohousing development, Treehouse Village Ecohousing is now a vibrant, multi-generational community. Our residents range in age from four months to over 80!
Construction is complete, with all but one of our 30 condos pre-sold. We’ve moved into our comfortable homes and have been hard at work putting the finishing touches on our energy-efficient Passive House development, powered by rooftop solar PV panels.

Here’s how to get to Treehouse Village at 39 Treehouse Lane in Bridgewater, NS:
- We encourage you to walk, bike, take public transit, or car share. Please dress for the weather — and please bring your own water bottle.
- Parking: For a lovely 15-minute stroll along Centennial Trail that will bring you to Treehouse Village, there’s plenty of free parking at the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre. Parking is also available on nearby streets and at the Centennial Trail parking lot on Victoria Road. Please note there is no parking available on Pearl Street or at the Wile Carding Museum!
- Accessible parking on our site can be made available upon request, if you let us know in advance at info@treehousevillage.ca
- Lots of activities are planned for the open house. Bridgewater Mayor David Mitchell will be on hand to give a few remarks at about 12:30 p.m. Watch this space or our Facebook page for more details.
A few more things to know…
- We’ve been working hard to finish every last detail — but our development may still officially be a construction site, so please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, watch for hazards, and dress accordingly.
- We also want to let you know there may be photos and videos taken during the event.
- And we’d be delighted if you brought a clipping of a perennial to help turn our village green! 🌿
